Director of Financial Planning

This is a Full-time position in Scottsdale, AZ posted May 1, 2021.

Finance team,  the Director of  Financial Planning  will be  responsible  for providing insights on new business opportunities, preparing financial  reporting  and developing  monthly analysis on company performance.  This position serves as a strategic business partner to business development and operational teams, creating robust financial modeling to drive  high value insights  and support new business initiatives.  This individual will be responsible for creating and delivering  balance sheet forecasts along with cash flow and net working capital projections  for internal and external  consideration .  This position plays a critical role  in driving analytical based decision making and  accountability  through ownership of the long range strategic financial model.

Responsibilities: 
Lead  the long
– range strategic pla nning process  through  development of  comprehensive models incorporating k ey performance measures,  corporate  objectives  and  new partnership growth Serve as the finance business partner to the business development team,  owning  the  creation  of complex and intricate financial models to provide confidence around new business opportunities  Own the creation of the balance sheet forecast  incorporating detailed GAAP requirements  and capturing the influence of  changing industry metrics Develop  accurate and timely cash flow and net working capital projections  using  sound forecasting  assumptions and metrics Champion  operational and financial data accuracy  necessary for successful  performance of this role Design and build dynamic financial models to facilitate the understanding between drivers and  outcomes  and communicate results to finance and business leaders  Drive financial literacy and  insight into changes  in net working capital Support the ERP implementation as  the subject matter expert  on  three statement reporting Work closely with the  arrivia  finance team  to develop and improve business analytics and reporting Build  and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization P erform other job-related duties  and analysis  as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting CPA license is preferred At least 15 years of relevant work experience within the Finance function Experience with forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling and business analysis Experience with networking capital, balance sheet & cash flow Strong understanding of GAAP Supervisory experience highly preferred Strong analytical skills with an ability to dig deep, summarize and communicate complex information in a straightforward manner Advanced knowledge of financial statements with clear understanding of balance sheet and cash flow Strong organizational and planning skills Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentation skills Advanced command of Microsoft products, particularly Excel, leveraging analytical modeling tools and techniques Knowledge of OneStream software a plus
