Financial Analyst – FP&A (Systems)

About this opportunity
This position is an individual contributor role responsible for providing support to finance teams with creation and
maintenance of metadata, analysis, report writing, and systems support. The responsibilities involve day to day
administration of financial reporting and planning systems along with maintaining financial models and performing
analysis and reconciliation of data sets and financial information. This position will provide insights/metrics/reporting
on financials as required through financial acumen, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
In this role, you will…
  • Administer day to day operations and become a subject matter expert with planning and reporting tools (Host

analytics) used at Align, including other software packages ERP, Consolidation, and Business Intelligence
software tools

  • Design, build, and test automated financial reports and models using various reporting tools
  • Develop / maintain financial hierarchies
  • Execute data analysis and data conversion projects
  • Perform Reconciliation and mapping of metadata between multiple systems
  • Support the Finance team with analysis and ad-hoc financial projects where necessary
  • Effectively partner and communicate across the business organization
In this role, you’ll need …
  • Experience administering and maintaining any planning or budgeting system is preferred
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in any planning tool
  • Strong understanding of the financial reporting and P&L Management
  • Familiarity with data management principles.
  • Strong experience in building models in MS Excel
  • Experience in data conversion projects a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP BW
  • Good understanding of FP&A processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and have a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Team player with experience working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong desire to quickly learn and master financial systems and tools
  • 4-5 years of experience as a financial analyst in FP&A role in a public company with annual revenue greater than


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business field, Accounting or Finance
