Civil Designer


This is a Full-time position in Avondale, AZ posted June 3, 2020.

Civil Designer with focus on land development needed for full-time position in Avondale.


Ideal candidate will possess in Civil 3D with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently to assist with design and permitting.

Summary of Position Responsibilities The Civil Designer position provides professional guidance, leadership and training to other personnel.

Is responsible for planning and coordinating new projects related to land development for site and commercial projects.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following Responsible for designing and developing civil layouts.

Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specification for mechanical discipline area.

Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications.

Provide real time advice and decisions, technical in nature and cost estimates as needed to the project managers.

Review and direct revisions to design packages as required.

Review drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards Minimum Requirements 5 plus years of relevant civil engineering experience with land development projects.

Superior proficiency in AutoCADCivil 3D (most recent versions perferred) Experience with construction plan preparation for utility, stormwater, and land developmentsite design for local governmental agencies.

Strong understanding of construction plan preparation and details.

Technical input for multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget.

Understanding of ACAD principles praechnically Proficient in Microsoft Office suite is required, and a high adaptability to learning new software and technology.
