Architectural Project Manager – Retail

The Project Manager is responsible for overall management of projects including design, communications, personnel management, budgets, schedules, quality control, business development, and client communication and relationships.

This position will assist in preparing and implementing annual business goals and multi-year strategic business plans for department.

This position will also be responsible for overall personnel management of assigned team members.

Managing multiple projects in a high energy environment Manages clients and projects specific to retail market but can include projects that require services up to large revenue.

Creates and tracks project budgets and schedules and identifies potential issues, oversees subconsultants, responsible for project profit objectives.  Market, establish, and sustain current and new clients Prepares workload forecasting reports and staffing plans  Interact with clients and manage and develop projects including document production Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and project stakeholders Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and sub-consultants Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural or Technical field Strong organizational skills for managing project schedules and tracking and be able to meet aggressive deadlines Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) Strong interpersonal skills including experience with supervising and mentoring staff
