Certified Auto Technician – $2,500 Sign on Bonus

This is a Full-time position in Gilbert, AZ posted August 5, 2020.

Successfully complete automotive service and repair work qualified to preform.

Perform work according to safety guidelines.

Inspect vehicles for additional needed repairs or maintenance and recommend them to the service advisors for sale to customers.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Common knowledge of vehicle components and the common reasons for vehicle failure Demonstrates problem solving and listening skills to evaluate member safety as well as the ability to discern safety issues and respond appropriately Participate in ongoing training as assigned by management.

Study technical bulletins, industry magazines, and technical web sites.

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification Valid Drivers license and current 39 month driving record.

2 ASE Certifications required or equivalent experience.

Candidates will be considered if there certifications have expired within the last 2 years.

Candidate will be required to re-certify in at least 2 areas at the next testing cycle as a condition of employment.

Technical Training Work Environment/Physical Requirements Works outdoors at vehicle sites when servicing vehicles.

Lifting and carrying tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day; bending, kneeling and stooping as required for service calls.

Works in all weather and all traffic conditions.

Vehicle recovery sites may be wet, messy and hazardous.
