SAP Solution Architect AWS Manager


This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted October 25, 2021.

Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required:

Bachelor Degree

Minimum Years of Experience:

6 year(s)

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs:

Working with SAP systems such as SAP Business Suite, SAP HANA, SAP Suite on HANA or equivalent;

Working with SAP Basis / NetWeaver and HANA Administration;

Working experience with SAP Installations, SAP OS/DB migrations, downtime optimization and data center migration;

Having experience with SAP migrations and upgrades with SAP High Availability Architectures;

Having experience with SAP specific infrastructure sizing, compute, storage, networking, and security design.

Having experience in Backup and recovery of SAP solutions (OS, Application, DB); and,

Having experience in designing, architecting and building Disaster Recovery solutions for SAP Applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs:

Designing, implementing and managing SAP solutions on AWS;

Migrating SAP applications to AWS using migration services and data transfer services;

Architecting high availability and disaster recovery patterns for SAP on AWS;

Sizing SAP systems to meet performance targets, and utilizing automation tools

Performing common SAP operational tasks on AWS, including backup and recovery, SAP system refresh, and system monitoring;

Automating SAP deployment, configuration and operations;

Setting-up and configuring SAP based on best practices;

Working on innovative SAP on AWS use cases;

Educating clients of all sizes on the value proposition of SAP on AWS, and participate in deep architectural SAP on AWS discussions;

Conducting one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to clients considering or already using AWS;

Building deep relationships with senior technical individuals within clients to enable them to be cloud advocates;

Working with the latest SAP products such as Fiori, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.;

Setting up one High-Availability cluster (HP ServiceGuard, SIOS, RedHat, SUSE, Windows;

Demonstrating proven understanding of SAP applications, infrastructure and security; and,

Building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure.
