Medical Assistant – Virtual Provider Care Team

The Provider Care Team Medical Assistant will help RDH providers streamline member care plans.

This team member works directly with the Virtual Primary Care with various tasks while creating a inspiring member experience.

Shift Details: Morning & Evening Shifts Available, some work from home may be available due to shift, but there is an onsite clinic Medical Assistants will support too.

Position Responsibilities: * Support the Provider after completing their Visit by Phone by assisting with various tasks.* Assist with Prescription Transmission to Pharmacies (Electronically/Phone-In).* Provide fair market price prescription voucher to member when needed.* Assist with additional appointment coordination hand-offs that include -* Initiating a referral to a specialist* Initiating a task to PCP/CHIRO* Initiating a task to RDH Radiology for diagnostic orders * Obtain Medical Records requested from previous PCP, Chiro or Specialist* Adding members to Today’s 1% or 10% contact list per provider’s request* Coordinating lab orders in eClinial Works (eCW)/LabCorp Beacon portal* Managing Provider Care Team folder in Spruce; includes tasks that are re-assigned from RDH Provider that filter workflow.* Routine assistance in member’s only clinic onsite.

Assisting with ancillary recommendations (EKG’s, vitals, starting notes, phlebotomy, immunizations/injections).

Position Requirements: * High School diploma, or equivalent (GED), required.* Associate degree in Medical Assisting and/or graduation from an accredited vocational Medical Assistant program, and/or military equivalent* Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or meet state requirements.* 1 year of family medicine MA experience, required.* CPR certification, required.* Electronic Medical Records experience, required.* Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation, preferred.
