This is a Contract position in Tempe, AZ posted October 31, 2021.

Team: SRE Role: Senior Reliability Engineer(SRE) The Engineering Reliability team at Lifion is central to the reputation and trustworthiness of our product.

We are looking for a SRE with strong experience with running distributed systems at scale.

The team applies the practices of Site Reliability Engineering to the platform and product engineering teams, and delivers value through standardization of operations, best practices, automation and subject-matter expertise.

This position can be remote if not located in the NY/NJ area RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as subject matter expert in SRE practices.

Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of servicesfrom inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.

Scale systems sustainably through automation to improve reliability and velocity.

Work with infrastructure engineers, developers, and architects to ensure performance and scalability of applications.

Assist with all aspects of operational security and compliance.

Run software performance analysis and system tuning.

Design and implement tools to collect data from various sources and provide actionable insights.

Participate in rotating on-call duties.

Participate in timely post-mortems of production incidents.

Be an advocate for Engineering best practices.
