Web Pen Tester

This is a Contract position in Scottsdale, AZ posted June 22, 2020.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the overall security test efforts across the organization, to include testing, analysis, recommendations, and reporting. Utilize automated scanning and exploit tools to identify security vulnerabilities. Communicate status and progress of security testing efforts across organization, to include presentations and reports. Ability to communicate risks and urgency to management and engineering teams. Document security test standards and guidelines for the organization. Partner with IT Security on DevSecOps capabilities. Strong understanding of security testing and penetration testing concepts and programming. Ability to test APIs. Expert knowledge of common vulnerabilities, exploits, and attacks used during a penetration test, including OWASP Top Ten. Expert knowledge, skills, and abilities in the use of common vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, HailStorm, Burp Suite, or similar tools. Ability to facilitate training and education on security testing. Ability to lead penetration testing engagements across multiple teams. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field or a minimum of 3 years of security test experience focused on web, mobile, database, or web services required. High-level understanding of the software development lifecycle or process flow and analysis required. Experience with helping to promote security in software development and operations required. Experience with JavaScript preferred. Experience with Python preferred. Experience working with offshore distributed teams preferred. Required experience with automationconfiguration management using the following Amazon Web Services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM) or similar cloud-based technologies Docker, Serverless framework CloudFormation or similar technologies Jenkins pipelines, bash, Linux or similar CICD tools Git, GitHub or other version controlrepository technologies JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or other related languages Angular, Node.js, or similar development frameworks Chef, Puppet, or similar configuration tools Must possess the ability to collaborate effectively and be effective at knowledge transfer and sharing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Creative problem solving and analytical thinking. Able to write and produce full Penetration testing and security assessment reports. Strong technical writing skills. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
