We are building a brand-new Distribution Center in Goodyear, Arizona and this position will be a key part of the launch and sustainment of this flagship distribution center for KeHE. The Inbound Supervisor role manages a team of employees, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met while maintaining a positive working environment.  The position is responsible for the coordination of selection, replenishment and/or loading of product in the most effective and productive manner.

  • Supervises, supports, and develops team; strives to create a positive work environment where team members can best execute and deliver results.
  • Oversees and prioritizes inbound activities to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and condition of shipments.
  • Proactively communicates to teams regarding warehouse processes which impact customers and transportation.
  • Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures and specifications through identification and consistent follow up.
  • Conducts daily required inspections of material handling equipment.
  • Ensures timely and focused warehouse associate training for all associates.
  • Troubleshoots issues which affect timely delivery and/or receiving of product.
  • Plans daily and weekly production activities.
  • Maintains distribution center’s HACCPs at acceptable levels and ensures food safety.
  • Ensure Safety and OSHA rules are followed.
  • Supports inventory integrity by employing warehousing and inventory control practices.
  • Models and ensures sanitation and facility maintenance focus.
  • Maintains safeguards of confidential company information.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2 years of related supervisory experience.

Additional Skills / Aptitude

  • Able to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Able to function well in a fast-paced environment under tight time constrains.
  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers and management.
  • Knowledge of warehouse technology; RF, (gladiators w/ring scanners) Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and leaders.
  • Must have great interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Develop strong trusting relationships and build an engaged team.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. Elevated noise levels also exist in the work environment.
