Marketing Coordinator

Under immediate supervision, the Marketing Coordinator supports the management of marketing programs and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with internal teams, external partners (brand representatives), external promotion vendors to support the strategic planning and tactical execution of promotions – including overseeing promotion setup and fulfillment, reviewing and editing advertising materials, and generating reports and presentations.

• Supports promotions programs through management of promotion calendar, researching and tracking competitive promotions activity and assisting with drafting promotions related communications.

• Responsible for monitoring promotion related customer surveys and facilitating responses.

• Supports showroom marketing programs by assisting with compliance audit efforts, reviewing communication pieces, and other tasks as assigned.

• Provides administrative support to the marketing team, as needed.

• Schedules and coordinates meetings, calendars, conference rooms, events and other similar activities for the marketing team.

• Attends marketing team or vendor meetings and provides meeting minutes to team members.

• Supports sports marketing, grass roots and product launch projects, as needed.

• Participates in learning opportunities/ activities to gain an understanding of basic brand marketing concepts, including but not limited to, best practices, methodology/ strategy, research, analysis and processes.

• Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.

• Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to marketing processes, procedures and services.

• Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a minimum of one year of administrative, office, customer service or related experience. Knowledge of marketing methodologies is highly desirable.

• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.

• Must possess strong organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to gather/ research market and competitor information is necessary.

• Ability to identify problems, review information to develop and evaluate options is essential.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes are necessary. Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management software is preferred.

• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with cross functional teams and vendors is required.

• This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

• The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.

• Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.

• In addition, organizational and problem solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

• Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.

Educational Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline is preferred

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
