RMA/Troubleshoot Technician

This is a Full-time position in Chandler, AZ posted July 29, 2021.

Currently is seeking a RMA/Troubleshoot Technician that will support production activities by inspecting product and test equipment. The Troubleshoot Technician inspects production fall out and determines root cause. They will perform preventative maintenance, repair, and inspect test equipment.
A typical shift for this position will be 6am 230pm Monday through Friday

Production support
Troubleshoot production and test assets down to component level
Identify or assist in identifying root causes
Perform Material Review Board activities
Build test equipment
Repair test equipment
Have some experience with analog and digital circuits
RMA Support
Organize on-time shipments of replacement and/or repaired customer products according to company service level guidelines.
Set customer expectations and maintain customer relationship through RMA process, providing status and expectation setting.
Enter all sales orders, weekly report to operations, run and distribute sales input report to senior level managers.
Prepare quotes for repair work, ensure profitability.
Analyzing Malfunction data and report findings
Daily review of product backlog/inventory in all logistic centers including daily executive summary report creation and distribution.
Work directly with Repair team, including technicians, engineers, and management. Set RMA workload priorities. This includes weighing multiple tangible and intangible variables to attain the best possible prioritization balance.
Apply planning, scheduling and inventory management techniques to minimize backlog in support of a seamless customer experience.
Document and maintain all current RMA processes, with constant attention to measurable and continuous improvement.
Analyze and provide detailed trend reporting of product failures by teaming with our domestic and international repair centers.
Proficient in the tools required to conduct the job
Able to read schematics, mechanical drawings and wire diagrams
Able to use lab equipment Oscilloscope, DMM
Microsoft Office
Arena [configuration control]
Finish tasks in a timely and allotted amount of time
Follow detailed processes and standards work instructions, test procedures, etc.
Minimal oversight required for completion of tasks; able to problem solve and address issues without re-direction
Able to work multiple task simultaneously and manage time accordingly

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel This position requires no travel.

Required Education and Experience
1. Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination
2. A minimum of 3 years of troubleshooting PCB’s to component level and SMT rework to 0402
3. Thorough knowledge of electronics required
4. IPC J-Std-001; Mil Std 461 preferred
5. Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 qualification testing
6. Excellent soft skills, written, verbal and communications skills

7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
8. Experience with an MRP system helpful
9. Prior RMA experience a plus

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be a U.S. Persons and able to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
