Who We Want:Business Systems AnalystASU Enterprise Partners , a private, nonprofit organization comprised of five subsidiaries that raise, create and invest resources for Arizona State University, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the Technology & Solutions team.

The Business Systems Analyst provides development and technical support for Accounting, Payroll, HR, Recruiting, and Financial Planning systems.

This position supports the daily operation of the systems, modifications to those systems, as well as integration connectors and reporting.

This position conducts business process and functional analysis to document needs and to design creative solutions that include new processes, features, and reports.

The Business Systems Analyst may also identify areas for improvement and will be a focal point for communication between customers and other technical team members.

What you’ll do:Collaborate with stakeholders and constituents to collect a list of ideas and potential projects to improve the current systemsDevelop subject matter expertise on system capabilities, upgrades and new releasesAnalyze, configure and release new features and enhancementsAnalyze, configure and enhance data connections with other systemsThink creatively to design and create new ways for using the system featuresAdminister system security and user roles and assignmentsProvide end user support, including trouble-shooting, report maintenance and developmentAnalyze reporting needs, create specifications and assist in the maintenance and development of reports and self-service reporting solutionsPrepare ad-hoc reports and queries as neededIdentify opportunities and implement changes to streamline reportingDevelop and document administrative and maintenance processes and proceduresEvaluate, test, trouble-shoot, and deploy system updates, patches and upgrades What you’ll need:Compelling interest and investment in enterprise finance and HR systems and best practicesExperience with ERP systems, including depth in either financial systems or human resources systemsKnowledge of configuring enterprise systemsAbility to break down complex business problems into processes and componentsCollaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environmentStrong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phoneAbility to communicate effectively and clearly with both technical and non-technical staffAbility to create dashboards and reportsAbility to create technical documentationAttention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned dutiesAdept at navigating complex environments with evolving priorities and communication plansHighly organized and able to handle multiple projectsAn advocate’s belief in the vision of ASU as the New American University EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems related field preferred and 1-3 years of professional analysis OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

Willingness to complete training and certification for Workday HCM or Workday Financials.

MENTAL DEMANDS: Person must be able to deal with multiple priorities, interruptions, and related stress.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.

Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.

Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.

May be required to perform tasks in the field within and/or across University campuses.

Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions.

This position may require some early mornings and evenings to accommodate meetings and events.

This position currently requires you to work from the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with Monday and Friday optional remote days.
