This is a unique opportunity to join a team that provides thermal analysis, testing, & qualification support to a wide array of products including F-15, F/A-18, T-45, JDAM, SLAM, Harpoon, Unmanned Aircraft, and Phantom Works Programs.

Some programs you will be working on and be responsible for; will include:Thermal Project ManagementThermal Finite Element ModelingAir Flow Distribution ModelingLiquid Flow Distribution ModelingCooling System Performance AnalysisThermal Requirements Management & CoordinationCooling System Lab Test Planning & SupportFlight Testing Planning & SupportComponent Qualification Test Support And DocumentationConceptual Thermal Design Development Position ResponsibilitiesSupports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.Supports system components’ designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.Trains others.Works under general direction This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S.

secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.3+ years’ experience in thermal and mechanical requirements3+ years’ experience in thermal analysis tools Preferred Qualifications Final Secret clearance3+ years’ experience in thermal analysis tools such as Thermal DesktopExperience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Typical Education/Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard..
