Inventory Analyst – Contract

This is a Contract position in Phoenix, AZ posted November 25, 2021.

This position is a 6 month contract opportunity located in Houston, TX.

The pay for this position starts at $32/HR and increases, DOE.

Right Angle and SAP experience are REQUIRED for consideration.

Inventory Analyst, Clean & NGL Inventory Accounting Responsibilities:
• Timely and accurate inventory reconciliation of refined product volumes (clean products; motor fuels, distillate, renewable fuels etc.) as well as NGL volumes between the company and third parties
• Interactions with Commercial front office (trader, scheduler, risk group), Accounting, Billing, Transportation, other departments within Phillips 66 as well as third parties
• Good communicator that understands the value of accurate, clear, and concise communication
• Work on complex processes and problems associated with the company’s Commercial business Basic Requirements: (nonnegotiable)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 5 years of Accounting or Finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Systems Used:
• Microsoft Office – Primarily Excel & Outlook
• SAP (S4)
• Right Angle (S10 and S15)
• Blackline
• Alteryx Preferred Qualifications
• Available immediately
• Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables with large data sets as well as VLOOKUP’s)
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply knowledge in identifying and resolving issues with internal and external business partners
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multitask but also prioritize and focus on what is most critical at that time
• Strong desire to learn and excel in an environment of growth and change
