Learning and Development Senior Analyst

n n nn Location Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America Category Project Management Posted Date: 02/12/2021 Job Id 21001908 nn nnThe Learning & Development Senior Analyst will work closely with the Learning & Development Team to continuously assess Cigna Medical Group’s learning needs, and design, develop, and deliver the needed training for front office, back office staff, Patient Access Center (PAC) and clinicians.

The role will also work closely with Stakeholders from all groups of the organization to ensure alignment between training and business workflows.

The role requires an agile professional with attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills are also essential.nn nnConducts training courses both in classroom and virtual settings, specific to back office, clinician, and front office processes, and incorporates policy, process and procedure changes as identified.nn nnAdministers end-user proficiency assessments, document scores, and communicates to Training Manager and User and Security team.nn nnCollects feedback from trainees in class and communicating that information to the Training Manager.nn nnIncorporates new curriculum as requested.

Identifies learning objectives and cost-effective delivery methods. nn nnAssists with creating and maintaining new curriculum/course and associated deliverables.nn nnUpdates trainer’s manuals, student packets, exercise booklets, handouts, login cards, presentations, Quick Start Guides, Tip Sheets, and other educational materials for responsible training courses.nn nnDevelops and delivers refresher, optimization, and skills enhancement training.nn nnManages the timely uploading of training materials to the CMG Policy and Procedure site.nn nnTests lesson plans and scenarios for training, and identity and update scenarios as needed.

Help create new scenarios as needed.nn nnMaintains classroom resources: orders and maintains supplies, ensures forms and training materials are available and complete, and ensures work stations are functional.nn nnManages maintenance of training equipment, supplies, materials, devices, and check out procedures in coordination with Device Manager.nn nnAssists centers with one on one training or follow-up on site training as requested.nn nnCreates and distributes communication to end users as needed.nn nnFollows-through on needed answers, decisions, and verification of workflows.nn nnAssists with building and testing of training environments, and trouble-shooting issues.nn nnSupports end users with at-the-elbow go-live support.nn nnProvides updates and insights to the Training Manger and leadership regarding trends for training needs.nn nnWorks closely with Operations, Nurse, and Clinician Champions to determine, plan, and execute for training and communication needs.nn nnAssists in the creation of training action plans for new employees as applicable with manager input and support.nn nnWorks with leadership to coordinate between policy changes and training needs.nn nnCollaborates to create the class schedules for all courses within the Medical Technology training team scope.nn nn Qualifications: nn nnStrong presentation skills and an ability to communicate in a clear manner, while building rapport and trust with the audience.nn nnComfortable facilitating training in a virtual environment.nn nnAbility to effectively communicate and explain sometimes difficult concepts with all organizational levels.nn nnPro-active and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on the work needed to be completed.nn nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and understanding of the need for clear explanations and documentation.nn nnExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.nn nnStrong analytical and problem solving skills.nn nnAbility to work in fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities with urgent timelines.nn nnAbility to work independently and to interact effectively as a team participant.nn nn Experience/Knowledge: nn nnBachelor degree or related experience desired.nn nn Clinical Background a plus.

nn nn Epic Certified or Proficient as a Principal Trainer and/or Certified or Proficient at an application level preferred nn nnFormal training/teaching experience with an adult audience preferred.nn nnKnowledgeable of back office, clinician, and front office workflow and processes.nn nnProficiency with Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and Windows operating system environment.nn nnTechnology savvy and able to manage the Learning Management System (LMS) content, course offerings and course catalog for their organization.nn nnOrganized and able to (with guidance on the process), secure and prepare training rooms, printed materials, and test workstations, printers, projectors and screens, barcode scanners, and other equipment needed for classroom training.nn nnFamiliar with leveraging/using a Learning Management System.nn nn Occasional travel between health care facilities and administrative offices within the Phoenix metro area.
