This is a Contract position in Scottsdale, AZ posted November 3, 2021.

Academies of Math and Science Math Curriculum and Instructional Specialist Start: 12/6/21 Location: Either Network office in Tucson or Phoenix Arizona.

Some travel to our Phoenix-metro area campuses will be required.

As part of the AMS family, your role as a Math Curriculum and Instructional Specialist is to mentor and collaborate with motivated teachers to improve instructional techniques and educational outcomes for our advanced curriculum designed for high-needs students.

Bachelors degree in Education with a Mathematics focus OR a Bachelors degree in Mathematics 5 years of teaching experience Knowledge of Saxon K-8 Math Curriculum A track record of excellent results teaching children at advanced levels in at-risk communities, across a variety of grade levels Evidence of leadership and going above and beyond in prior teaching or administrative roles Proven results in coaching teachers, providing training and support, conducting classroom observations, and implementing, analyzing, and helping teachers analyze and create action plans from assessments Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as attention to detail Strong computer skills and ability to analyze data in various applications including Excel Commitment to helping at-risk students prepare for and succeed in college Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish, Experience with ELL students, experience with Saxon math PM20 2NT020 by Jobble
