This is a Full-time position in Mesa, AZ posted March 23, 2021.

SUMMARYThis position performs detailed scheduling of manufacturing work in process, coordinates outside services, and maintains physical control of in-process inventories with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will expedite workflow, coordinate changes in schedules and ensure timely execution of company goals by performing the following duties.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules.* Coordinates with Material Management to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.* Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.* Schedules equipment and personnel* Confirms material supply and demands* Prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.* Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, etc.* Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.* Interacts daily with Aftermarket Engineering and Operations and requires a strong focus on customer service.* Acts as a backup to the Master Scheduler.* Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone – Expected to provide mentorship to less experienced employees.QualificationsSKILLS AND ABILITIES:* Must have a demonstrated skill and understanding of MRP systems. Experience in J.D. Edwards/One World MRP system a plus.* Ability to multi task and prioritize workload within a fast-paced, dynamic, environment.* Ability to accomplish time sensitive goals set by management.* Ability to successfully coordinate efforts of staff outside of individual’s span of authority.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required. Advanced Excel, Access database and PowerPoint experience a plus. Working knowledge of MD’s product line preferred.* Strong interpersonal skills – creative thinker with exemplary written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with both co-management and internal/external customers and regulatory representatives is required.* Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues is required.* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* Bachelor’s degree (B.
