Job Summary:

As Part of the Corporate Functions Technology, the candidate will support Regulatory Reporting applications by designing and configuring data and business process flows in regulatory reporting tools such as AxiomSL, Wolters Kluwer’s OneSumX, Lombard Reg Reporter, or business process tools such as Workiva Wdesk, and Vena.

The Senior Analyst will work closely with business analysts, developers and the Regulatory Reporting team to understand requirements and create Functional Design Documents, Detailed Design Documents, and Data Sourcing Documents.

The Analyst will also take the role of technology lead for small to mid-size projects, monitoring progress to goals, identifying risk and issues and raising concerns to the Project Manager.

Knowledge of any Regulatory Reporting applications will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project teams, technology stakeholders and vendors for ensuring that the design, development and implementation of application programs and services are performed within project milestone dates.
  • Engage with multiple internal technology teams including Infrastructure, Middleware, Network /System Admin, enterprise security to design and develop solutions.
  • Understand business requirements and implement technical solutions in an efficient way.
  • Ability to analyze data and solve any issues within the environment.
  • Support configurations, customization, reports and interfaces, Systems and Integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Develop test scenarios and test scripts in the impacted solutions to facilitate appropriate functional and integrations testing using programming languages like SQL
  • Provide input for the creation of technology related project documents including functional and detailed design documents ensuring that the design meets requirements and provides technical details to development teams.
  • Provide required application support during system failures.  Ability to debug technical issues and provide remediation.

Must have 5+ years of experience in a system analysis role
  • Must have 1-2 years of experience in financial industry
  • Ability to be flexible, decision oriented, and motivated
  • Ability to analyze complex cross functional problems, quickly grasp concepts related to industry specific design/development and articulate them concisely to foster project team collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of various teams
  • Self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and providing solutions.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of the system development life cycles
  • Project management experience is desired
  • Experience in working with vendor SAAS solutions is a plus
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred
  • BS or equivalent degree or experience in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
