We accelerate success; you control the throttle and hold the yoke.The TeamThe Advanced Manufacturing Program Manager leads a team of manufacturing engineers to streamline and speed up our Aerospace customer’s manufacturing processes.  This includes reviewing and updating their work instructions, pushing parts and assemblies through First Article Inspection, routing hardware through their facility, and pushing new technologies and digital factory enhancements to improve our customer’s workflows.  The team will be comprised of several team leads, each with 6-10 team members.The RoleThe successful candidate will take a leading role in our Advanced Manufacturing team.

In additional to steering the team’s efforts, you will be the face of QuEST to our customer’s senior and executive leadership, so clear and effective communication is a must.  The Program Manager will also play a significant role in developing sales for their service.Job FunctionsEffective delegation, team development, resource & project tracking, and identifying new resources to hiring onto the team will be essential for the Program Manager’s success.  Additional responsibilities include ensuring that the team develops and executes the following:Leadership Responsibilities:Assisting with on‐boarding of new employeesProcess developmentDocument processes, tools and templatesGather and develop training materialsEstablish reporting rhythm with customerEnsure conformance to process across teamEmployee developmentSetting and monitoring Key Result Areas (KRAs) quarterlyAnnual performance reviewsMapping career development plansMentor and facilitate training for team membersProject ManagementMeet with customer’s regularly to monitor project healthProviding weekly status reports to all customersWeekly hours reportingMonthly deliverables reportingGathering MFAsHold team meetings to flow out informationSeek out new work opportunities for QuESTProgram Responsibilities:Review, create and update manufacturing work instructionsOrganize work instructions in a database, adding pictures and symbols as neededMeet with manufacturing engineers and technicians to evaluate process and receive feedback on work performedReport project status during regular meetings with the customer.

Typical reports would include updates on total completed work instructions, assumptions made and information needed.QualificationsWe’re excited to talk to you if:Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Preferred10+ years of previous leadership / managerial experience in supply chain, materials management, sourcing, procurement SIOP or related areaThe candidate must have the ability to virtually manage an experienced team of professionals with a track record of coming through on commitmentsYou can understand a customer’s problems and create new solutions to solve them.  This is both a creative and innovative process as well as being able to monetize the solution.Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment without a lot of management oversite.
