Inventory Control Supervisor


This is a Full-time position in Surprise, AZ posted March 26, 2021.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure e.dms and provision systems are in sync for all clients, all SKU’s
    • Item masters match
    • Quantity on hand match
    • Dispositions match
  • Develop Cycle count schedule for all clients
  • Perform cycle counts on schedule
  • Responsible for coordinating all physical inventories
  • Research and provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies (system to system and system to physical variances)
  • Provide corrective and preventive actions and work with Operations to implement and monitor at each facility
  • Provides process improvement for receiving, outbound and storage strategy.
  • Demonstrate high level of customer service dealing with both internal and external customers
  • Produce reports for Management and clients as requested and on pre-determined schedule.
  • Provide trending analysis by account, facility, operator
  • Provide training to all operators on good, consistent behavior for maintain inventory accuracy in all functions
  • Available weekend and second shift counts as required
  • All other duties as assigned


Education (preferred level) high school

Experience (minimum level of direct experience in a similar position) 2 years.

Previous experience in inventory control and/or distribution operations

Fully proficient with various software applications (i.e. mainframe systems: MS Word, MS Excel) preferably with a base knowledge of inventory control.

Typing – 30 wpm / 10-key by touch

Displayed ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Knowledge/ Skills: General office knowledge, including telephone techniques and computer skills, in a customer service environment is required.

Effective communication skills and good hearing is required. Bi-lingual abilities a plus.

Special Requirements: Must have excellent work habits. Must pass a background check, if applicable in state, region or geography.
