You will be responsible for managing sponsorships which includes maximizing internal adoption, customer engagement, brand experience and preference, related revenue capture, and return on investment.

You will also lead and support other marketing initiatives that support field revenue objectives by acting as a resource to the field organization and applying marketing principles and best practices to programs that originate at the corporate and field level.It’s not every day that a marketing professional has the opportunity to play a vital role with a highly respected, rapidly growing industry leader.

If you’re in the market for excellent rewards, career satisfaction and a highly visible position that can make a genuine impact, consider United Rentals.Additional Responsibilities Include:Serve as single point of contact, manage relationships and develop positive partnerships with sponsored teams/organizationsMaximize impact and results of sponsor/partner programs and related activities and integration into corporate marketing initiativesManage and fulfill all contractual requirements for each partnership, often dealing with c-level or similar executives internally and within partner organizationsVet new proposals and opportunities, and assist with contract negotiations and development as neededCreate strategic plans that leverage the unique characteristics and opportunities of each partnership to connect with customers and bring the UR brand to life through curated experiencesDevelop and manage event communications plans targeting internal and external audiencesManage tickets, hospitality, branding and other assets of partnership programsEvangelize sales, operations and marketing colleagues to build awareness and excitement about sponsorship programs and gain support and involvementPartner with key stakeholders across business units to deliver on revenue and related objectivesIdentify and act on opportunities to extend the reach and impact of sponsorships into broader marketing and brand activities and programsResponsible for all budget planning, tracking and management related to all events and programsCollaborate with leadership to establish goals and objectives and provide regular reporting on success against relevant metricsOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sports Marketing, Event/Hospitality Management, Business, or related field required5+ years of related work experience in sports marketing, sponsorship management, or experiential marketing, either internal corporate or agencyProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteDemonstrated success in sports marketing and/or experiential marketing programsExperience negotiating and managing complex contracts and large event budgetsExceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skillsExcellent time management, organization and project management skills and attention to detailCustomer-centric mindset and attitudeStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skillsWillingness to work remotely and travel up to 50% of the time, including outside of the US as neededWhat’s in it for you?U.S.
