This is a Contract position in Goodyear, AZ posted September 21, 2021.

Advantage Resourcing has immediate opening for a Mill Shift Supervisor.

As Mill Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for operational activities on the assigned shift including planning, organizing and directing shift operations to assure quality production, cleaning and documentation of work is being completed to standards and producing quality product on a timely basis.

GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITY: The primary function of this position is to work in conjunction with Rough Rice Supervisor, Rough Rice Foreman, and Mill Supervisor to oversee the duties required in the day-to-day operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: v Unload, bin, and ship back to the mill rough rice according to company grade factors v Coordinate receipts and shipments of rough rice with Rough Rice Supervisor and Mill Supervisor v Maintain physical inventory to insure the grain in storage remains insect free and in the proper bin.

Bin measurement is performed using 100’ tape measure-findings recorded on inventory form.

v Maintain equipment and grounds-perform weekly trash/debris removal from grounds and parking lot.

v Follow pesticide label directions in fumigating and transfer for conditioning of rough rice.

v Possess a working knowledge of USDA and milling and grade factors for long and medium grain rice inventory stored.

v Preform maintenance when needed Minimum Qualifications v High School Diploma or GED Equivalent v Working knowledge and understanding of the hazards of electrical and rotating equipment v 6 months’ experience in manufacturing environment or grain handling facility v Ability to supervise and work well with Company employees & temporary general labor workers.

v General equipment light maintenance – maintain preventive maintenance records on machinery at CG v Physical ability-must be able to lift 75-100’s for motors and gear boxes.
