Especially during this past year, the BRM team been integral to shaping how we keep our colleagues safe and engaged.

The BRM teams develop and implement Marsh & McLennan Company’s business continuity planning in order to maintain the well-being of employees, protect its assets, and provide continued service for clients during business disruptions.

nn nnAs the Senior Manager of BRM, you’ll join our America’s team to develop, coordinate, implement and provide advice, reporting and services on a variety of risk management issues, primarily focused on Business Resiliency in the US.

You’ll report into the Business Resiliency Region Head for the Americas and work with nimble team of four colleagues located across the US to coordinate regional resources to support an efficient approach to business resiliency resources and standards.

You’ll help ensure business resiliency management initiatives are consistent with goals and objectives of our business and systems strategies.

We’ll trust you to build ongoing relationships with line(s) of business, regional businesses and functional leadership, ensuring awareness of issues and fully engaged in their resolution.

We’ll also rely on you to support the governance, project management and quality management activities of the MMC Global BRM program.

– physically, mentally, and financially Generous time away from the office and paid time off to give back through non-profit community service Employee Resource Groups which provide access to leaders, relevant volunteer and mentoring opportunities, and interactions with counterparts in industry groups and client organizations nn We will count on you to: nn Provide overall direction and oversight for the MMC Global BRM program to support and maintain a strong business resiliency, preparedness and response environment across MMC Maintain, update, validate business impact assessments (BIAs) to identify critical applications/systems and recovery capabilities and priorities Coordinate actions to mitigate business continuity risks associated with offices, functions and operations to maintain the well-being of employees, protect assets, and provide continued service for clients during business disruptions Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of business resiliency plans, policies and procedures across all assigned business units; supports recovery team leaders in planning, maintaining and implementing active recovery plans Plan delivery of Global BRM program training and awareness activities across areas of responsibility Regularly assess recovery capability, through reviews, testing and exercising, and reports on business resiliency status to stakeholder groups Project manage activities with the functions/groups that play a role in crisis management, including updates to crisis management documentation and facilitation of crisis management testing and exercising Coordinate and facilitate 24×7 crisis management and incident response efforts Support the management of contracts with outside vendors and consultants in support of business resiliency management to provide effective resiliency and recovery solutions nn What you need to have: nn Bachelors degree 5-10 years in a Business Resiliency or comparable position, with demonstrated leadership and influencing skills; background and experience in crisis management, emergency response, disaster recovery, business process analysis and risk management Ability and desire to travel domestically up to 25% of the time to facilitate program requirements Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and tasks Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels nn What makes you stand out: nn Detail oriented to ensure accuracy and results focused.
