Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Spa Manager is to oversee the daily business operations of the spa, as well as recruit and train associates, and provide guests with excellent service.

Work Performed:

The Spa Manager will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

    -Ensure that all staff (licensed and non-licensed) follows Standards of Procedures, Service Standards and all other guidelines;
    -Hire and schedule staff, schedule dept. meetings, schedule continuing education opportunities for all licensed staff members;

    -Work with hotel sales department to secure group business that will utilize spa services;

    -Complete monthly P and L reports, work with GM in preparing annual budget;

    -Order products and supplies for spaand maintain inventory of all professional and retail items;

    -Maintain reports for Spa Gift Certificates;

    -Advertise and promote Spa to guests and the community;

    -Control revenue and expenditures;and

    -Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

Required Prior Experience:

Minimum two (2) years spa or salon experience,

One (1) year supervisory experience;

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Technology:

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Brand-specific property Management Systems.

Other:

Excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management and listening skills.
