Moves ManagerJob Description SummaryProvide moves program management experience to designated projects through personal interaction with clients and internal and external project and move management staff; monitor and coordinate the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project and move management.

Manage the department that oversees all relocation of client staff and contractors including moves, furniture reconfigurations, IT oversight and planning.Job Description* Oversees the operational and procedural to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures.* Manage the staff that will receive all requests for user moves and oversees scheduling, execution and vendor management.

Manage, mentor and motivate team of move managers.* Drive the establishment and adoption of all project move management guidelines, processes, and tools.* Ensure vendors comply with building standards and policies, maintaining as-built files and other documentation, maintaining information in database system, furniture documentation, and move documents.* Oversees issuing of work order process for approved projects to contractors, supervise furniture and related equipment moves, receive and verify invoice payments.* Produce regular reports and administer customer satisfaction surveys in compliance with established contractual performance indicators.* Ensure staffed appropriately to execute on moves, furniture work orders and small reconfigurations.* Ensure contracting process is followed and service levels are met in compliance with agreements.* Meet with clients prior to each project and identify success factors, develop measurement tools and communicate measureable added value to clients.* Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with all clients and C&W team members.* Coordinate and implement project relocation plans and schedules.Coordinate with end user and resource departments such as Facilities, IT, Security, Mail Services, Human Resources, etc.* Lead coordination efforts for Moves, Adds, Changes (MACs).

This includes developing move instructions, welcome packets and facilitating move meetings with the occupants affected.* Coordinate and schedule project meetings to provide timely end user communications.* Coordinate and analyze proposal bids from approved vendors.* Conduct post completion project reviews and administer customer satisfaction surveys as directed by Client.* Interface with Space Planners and end user to gather requirements.Additional ResponsibilitiesThis is an addendum to the principal responsibilities outlined in the job description.
